Chelsea has long been associated with the bohemian and the fashionable. Chelsea was a home for the artist as long as over a hundred years ago and its main artery - the Kings Road - became popular by being the home of groundbreaking fashion and nightlife in the sixties, and if its is not quite on the forefront of fashion anymore - with fashion chains having taken such a hold - it is still a paradise for shopaholics. A sense of the old Chelsea can be had around the antique shops of Lots Road, but for the most part it is youth, wealth and glamour.
