Hammersmith is an area hugging the river Thames leading westward out of Central London. Its riverside position means that has lovely scenic walks as well as atmospheric pubs and cafes. King Street, its main shopping area has all the basics covered and the transport links are excellent. Pound for pound its properties tend to be cheaper than its more central and grander neighbours, and it provides excellent value for the young professional.
